Ustad Shahid Parvez Khan Concert at VMFA

Dear SoorNaad Members,

As previously mentioned, the VMFA has organized a special sitar concert featuring Ustad Shahid Parvez on Thursday, September 19, 2024, from 6:00 to 7:30 PM. Please refer to the attached flyer for more details. While the concert is free to the public, tickets must be obtained through the VMFA website. However, since the event is already sold out and tickets are no longer available, VMFA has graciously extended an invitation to SoorNaad members, offering us a spot on their VIP/special guest list.

If you would like to attend, please fill out the following Google form (https://forms.gle/adt5GJhSedjb5gHq7) to secure your place on the VIP/special guest list. Seats are limited, and only two members per family can be accommodated. Kindly register by Sunday, September 15, 2024, no later than 10 PM.

For those registered to attend: your names will be included on the VIP guest list. There is no need to stop at the Visitor Desk upon arrival. You may proceed directly to the Marble Hall on the museum’s second floor. Once you reach the seating area, inform the ticket takers that you are on the guest list, and they will guide you to the designated seating area reserved for special guests. Please note that the concert begins promptly at 6 PM.
